Spring has sprung and the days are warming up for the outdoors. For birding enthusiasts, the Wilderness National Park birding weekend is a four day getaway of unique birding. Held from October 19th to the 23rd, the weekend will be hosted by expert bird guides Trevor Hardaker and Peter Ginn, while events and give-aways are planned at various popular birding spots and canoe trails.
Wilderness National Park is situated along the Western Cape's Garden Route and is internationally acclaimed for its conservation across the forests, lakes, beaches and Karoo plains. The birding weekends are organised by the Honorary Rangers of South Africa’s National Parks and sponsored by Sasol. As a proudly South African company, Sasol’s support for environmental conservation projects promotes appreciation for birdlife and showcases the spectacular variety of bird species our country has to offer.
The birding weekends take place throughout the year at various national parks and have limited space. Book your space early to avoid disappointment. For more information, contact Mrs van Rensburg on 083 325 9897.
